Not Letting Up

We're in the middle of yet another snow storm, and some of the areas around us are now under a blizzard warning. I can't believe the snow is already up to Kyle's knees, and it's STILL snowing! The dogs love the snow... but only for a short time, because it hurts their little paws. The poor little pups came limping in from outside, snowy, cold feet, and ready to come in to the warm house! Until then, they had a blast playing in the snow with their Dad.

Let It Snow!

We have been absolutely pounded with snow over the last few weeks. Last night, a big winter storm rolled through and left us with at least a foot of snow this morning. Here are a few pics off our back deck:

Crazy! The dogs certainly had a nice time playing in it. And Kyle certainly enjoyed shoveling the pathway... :)

Our Growing Niece

Over Thanksgiving, my sister, brother-in-law, and 5 1/2 month old niece had family photos taken by one of my best and oldest friends, Julia, and her husband, Tyson. (Check them out here!) They got some incredible shots of our adorable niece! We couldn't help but show her off. What an adorable family!

Starting A Family Tradition
For the last couple years, Kyle and I have visited a Christmas tree farm in Gobles to find and chop down our own Christmas tree. This year, our first Christmas as a married couple, we are officially starting a family tradition. Years from now, we'll take our kids to pick out their favorite tree. For now, here's the two of us on the hunt for the perfect tree!

Snow Dogs
Today I ventured out in the 15 degree weather (and 8" of snow!) to hold a photoshoot of our adorable dogs. Riley (the black dog) didn't much feel like a photo op today, but I managed to get a few good shots of her, nonetheless. Logan (the yellow dog), our usually anti-camera dog, was actually all for having his photo taken. Enjoy!

Rehearsal Dinner and Happy Hour

After dinner, the bridal party palled around downtown and took some fun photos. We then headed over to a local microbrewery to host a happy hour for all our out-of-town guests. It was there that we got to meet our beautiful, 2-week old, neice Caroline for the first time!
The bride and her beautiful maids.

The groom and his men.

I saw my sister walking up the street toward the restaurant with a stroller and I ran to the door to meet her. This is me, with my mom and sister, holding my neice for the very first time! She's so little!

And now Kyle's in love too!

What a proud daddy. And already holding her like she can't break!

The pround Aunt and Uncle. I don't know about Kyle, but at this point, I was ready to give Caroline a cousin! :)

Mom is all smiles and happy to be a grandma!

The extended Frank family ordering some beer and grub. Such a fun group of people! I'm so excited and thrilled to be a part of this family.
The Day Before The Day It All Began

Kyle and I were married on June 21, 2008. And so starts our family blog. Below are pictures from our rehearsal on a gorgeous summer day.

We're fake married!
